Satellite startup, Constellr, is now working to improve how water is used in agriculture. Constellr’s satellites allow the detection of early water stress through thermal imaging. The micro-satellites can also detect early signs of wildfires, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions.

Dutch startup, Foamplant recently introduced a sustainable alternative to plastic-based foam called Moorefoam. Made from a bio-polyester that can be recycled repeatedly without degradation to the material.
BACTERIA-BASED WHIPPED CREAM | # FOOD
Researchers at the University of Copenhagen have created a proof-of-concept replacement for whipped cream. Their new version, made from lactic acid bacteria, is entirely dairy-free and fat-free.
