    Managing Director & Co-founder
    Christina Chase
    • Christina Chase is Managing Director and co-founder of the MIT Sports Lab which helps professional teams, global brands, the sports-tech industry & organizations tackle key questions at the nexus of sports and engineering. The lab brings together MIT professors and students to help partners advance the frontiers of sport. Christina holds appointments as a Lecturer at MIT in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
      Prior to this, Christina was the first Entrepreneur in Residence at MIT through the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship where she helped hundreds of teams go from concept to company. She has been named one of the 25 Most Influential Women in the Boston Tech Community and one of the 15 People Shaping Boston’s Tech Scene. She is a Techstars mentor and served on the Board of the MIT Enterprise Forum, and is a judge and former Advisory Board member for the SXSW Accelerator Competition.
      Christina has an entrepreneurial record of success in several industries, starting her first company when she was 18 years old. She has worked across enterprise hardware, healthcare IT, materials and coatings, and education technology. Christina was one of 12 women cyclists selected by the US Cycling Federation to train at the US Olympic Training Center. She has taught downhill skiing in Colorado and summited six of Colorado’s 14,000 foot peaks across seasons. Her current passion is kiteboarding.

    Managing Director
    Florence Hardouin
    • Former international fencer athlete between 1989 and 1996, Florence Hardouin became team vice champion in Budapest in 1991 and won three World Cup tournaments. A remarkable and high quality woman, she began her professional career at the Ministry of Sports and Youth in 1991, and worked for various companies including Bouygues, the Canal + group and SFR, before joining the French Football Federation ( FFF) in 2008. At the FFF, Florence Hardouin first held the position of Head of Marketing and Commercial Development before becoming Deputy Chief Executive Officer in 2011, then Managing Director in 2013. Within UEFA, she was first a member of the 2011-2015 Marketing Advisory Board. She was then elected as the first woman member of the UEFA Executive Committee at the UEFA Congress in Budapest in May 2016. Added to this position, she is now President of the Marketing Advisory Commission and Vice President. of the Media Committee.

    Gregory Dupont
    • Dr Gregory Dupont is currently the head of performance for the French Football Federation, he is also an adjunct Professor at the Research Institute for Sport and Exercise Sciences in Liverpool John Moores University. He has implemented a ‘research development’ departments in Lille FC (LOSC, France), Celtic FC (Scotland) and in the French Federation.
      His research topics deal on fatigue and recovery in football, injury prevention and high-intensity training. This scientific activity led to 66 scientific papers. He is focused on reducing the gap between research and practice. He was also the 1st team fitness coach for Lille FC (LOSC, France), Celtic FC (Scotland) which won the national leagues, national cup and league cup, and for the French team who won the last World Cup in Russia (2018).

    Brianne Ehrenkranz
    • Brianne leads the EME marketing team, which manages NBA brand marketing, social media channels, and CRM initiatives. The primary focus is to drive fan growth and increase following and engagement amongst core fans in the region. As part of this, she oversees the NBA’s European primetime game campaign, "NBA Sundays," to drive viewership in the region. The goal of the NBA’s country-specific social channels is to engage fans authentically through locally relevant content. Our following is industry leading and continues to grow in both engagement and reach.
      Previously, Brianne led MEC Access UK, the content marketing and partnerships division of WPP media agency MEC, and before that spent 10 years in sports marketing consulting with Octagon. She is American, and has been in London for five years with her husband and two children.

    National Technical Director
    Hubert Fournier
    • Hubert Fournier, former footballer and professional coach, is since 2017, National Technical Director of the French Football Federation. Having played for several clubs Between 1987 and 2004, he played in 14 UEFA Cup matches (SM Caen, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Olympique Lyonnais) and 2 UEFA Champions League matches with Olympique Lyonnais. In 2004, he devoted himself to training by integrating the staff of US Boulogne, then FC Gueugnon, Stade de Reims and finally with the OL during the 2014-15 season. With a winnership of Vice-Champion Ligue 2 in 2012 with the Stade de Reims, Vice-Champion Ligue 1 in 2015 with Olympique Lyonnais and coach of the year Eleven Golden 2015, Hubert Fournier is today at the heart of the technical organization chart of the FFF and aims, as DTN, to reorganize life through the leagues and districts because of territorial movements and promote the plan of feminization by 2019.

    Patricia Thoreux
    • Professor Patricia Thoreux is an orthopedic surgeon and sports trauma specialist specializing in arthroscopic surgery and shoulder, knee and ankle surgery. She is responsible for the Center for Investigations in Sports Medicine (CIMS) at Hotel Dieu as well as responsible for the activity of Medicine and Traumatology of Sport and Exercise within the Department of Physiology, Functional Investigations and Sports Medicine of Avicenna Hospital. She is president of the GCS (Sanitary Cooperation Group) with INSEP (National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance) and the FFF (French Football Federation).

    Christophe Clanet
    • Christophe Clanet is a research director at the CNRS and an associate professor at the l'Ecole polytechnique (X). He runs the hydrodynamic laboratory of the X (LadHyX) since 2012 where he develops with Caroline Cohen the physics of sport and disability. When he obtained the Olympic and Paralympic Games in September 2017 from France (Paris 2024), he launched the Sciences 2024 project, which currently includes 11 higher education institutions and is a research project aimed at supporting medaillable French athletes. in their search for performance by answering the scientific questions they ask themselves

    Performance Manager
    Paul Balsom
    • Paul graduated from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm with a PhD in Exercise Physiology in 1996. For the last 20 years he has worked at the Swedish Football Association as performance manager for the mens’ national team. During this time, Sweden have qualified for 5 UEFA Euro and 3 World Cup final tournaments. In the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Sweden reached the quarter-finals and are currently ranked #13 in the world. For the last 10 years, Paul has also been responsible for the development and enhancement of the sports science and performance analysis support offered to the first team professional players and coaching staff at the Leicester City. Using an integrated proactive approach to the scientific management of player development, the aim has been to minimise the risk of injury and to improve individual and team performance. In 2016, Leicester City became only the 6th team to win the English Premier League. More recently, Paul was appointed Head of Performance Innovation at the King Power owned football club OH Leuven in Belgium. Since 2012, Paul has been a member of UEFA’s Fitness for Football advisory group. In 2017, he successfully completed the UEFA Pro coaching licence.
